Gobelsburg Tradition 3 Year Old Ed 851

Schloss Gobelsburg Tradition 3 Year Old Ed 851 is a full-bodied, multi-vintage white wine from the Kamptal region of Austria. Schloss Gobelsburg is one of the oldest wineries in the Austrian Danube area with a documented history that dates back to 1171. The estate`s Tradition range harks back to the 19th-century tradition of winemaking and follows many of the methods used during these pre-industrial times. This includes using a basket press for pressing, fermentation without temperature control in traditional, large Manhartsberg oak casks and racking every three to four months for about two years until the wine is ready to be bottled. This time capsule wine is a multi-vintage blend of 80% Grüner Veltliner and 20% Riesling, with wines selected from 2018 (85%) 2017 (10%) and 2016 (5%).
