Hampden 8 Year Old is an age-statement single Jamaican rum produced at the Hampden Estate Distillery in Trewalny Parish, Jamaica. Produced with a secret method that has remained unchanged since the 18th century, this eight-year-old is the flagship rum of the Hampden range. Producer note. "The rum has been aged for 8 years in Jamaica in a tropical climate, which is equivalent to almost 25 years of maturation in the European climate. The nose is voluptuous and intense, with notes of caramelised apple and sweet spices mixed with a delicate touch of smokiness."
