Hermitage La Chapelle from Paul Jaboulet Ainé is arguably one of the most iconic wines in the world. They are one of the largest landowners on the famous hill of Hermitage and this wine is produced from a selection of the finest parcels of Syrah from the Les Bessards, Le Meal, Greffieux and Rocoules lieux-dits. For many, the 1961 is one of the best red wines ever made. It is dense, concentrated and profoundly complex with every single component in perfect harmony. This has scored a perfect 100-points from The Wine Advocate on four separate occasions and has been given a drinking window 2030-2060.
