Inglenook is a historical Napa Valley property originally established by Finnish-born sea captain Gustave Nieubaum in 1879. Almost a century later, the estate changed hands in 1975 when it was purchased by the legendary filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola. Today, Inglenook consists of 688 contiguous hectares – 95 of which are organically certified vineyards – and the winemaking team is led by Philippe Bascaules. This is a rare half-bottle of the estate’s Cabernet Sauvignon from 1969, the same year that Neil Armstrong became the first man to walk on the moon.
