John Duval Annexus Grenache 2019

John Duval Annexus Grenache 2019 is a full-bodied red wine produced by the celebrated Australian winemaker John Duval in the Barossa region of South Australia. Although Duval is best-known for his Barossa Shiraz, he harbours a longstanding love for Grenache. The Annexus cuvée is only produced in exceptionally good years and is made from very old-vine Grenache fruit. "Open-top fermented with a smatter of whole bunches; matured for 15 months in used French hogsheads. Vinified with the reverence such fruit deserves, from the bright colour to the cherry, plum and spice of the long and supple palate.
