Kilchoman 15 Year Old Spiritfilled Private Cask Release

Kilchoman 15 Year Old Mythical Beasts is an extra-aged Islay single malt whisky produced at the Kilchoman distillery and bottled by Spiritfilled as part of their collectible Mythical Beasts range. Matured in ex-Bourbon casks and bottled at 55.5%, this intriguing bottling is lightly peated and displays a lightly peppery nose with notes of creamy apricot and custard. The mellow palate offers layered flavours of dried orchard and tropical fruits with a hint of vanilla and light toffee. Located on Rochside Farm near Machir Bay – the most westerly distillery location in Scotland – Kilchoman was founded by former wine trade professional Anthony Wills in 2005 and quickly established itself as an emblematic producer of peated single malt from the islands of Islay.
