Château Kirwan is a Third Growth property situated within the Margaux appellation. The Schÿler family acquired the estate in 1925 and it is currently managed by Sophie, Nathalie and Yann, who represent the 8th generation. The 1975 is still going strong at nearly 50 years of age. Although it was an uneven vintage for Bordeaux, Pomerol, Saint-Julien, Margaux and Pauillac performed well.
