Kumeu River is a distinguished New Zealand winery situated on the outskirts of Kumeu, approximately 25 kilometres northwest of downtown Auckland. The estate has gained acclaim for its Chardonnay wines crafted in the Burgundian style, offering a variety of expressions. This Hunting Hill release is from the abundant 2022 vintage, which proved to be a highly productive year for New Zealand winemakers. Kumeu River experienced an early harvest, concluding in mid-March, yielding exceptionally pure Chardonnay grapes.
