Château Lafite Rothschild was one of only four wine-producing properties awarded First Growth status in the 1855 Bordeaux classification. The iconic estate is blessed with a unique terroir near in the northern part of Pauillac, close to the border with Saint-Estèphe. This is the 2002 vintage of its flagship wine, available here in a half-bottle format. Notes of cedar, strawberries, fig, tobacco, eucalyptus and green peppers. The fruit is still quite present even after 20 years.
