Château Lafite Rothschild was one of only four wine-producing properties awarded First Growth status in the 1855 Bordeaux classification. Situated in the northern part of Pauillac, the iconic estate is blessed with a truly unique terroir. This is the 2019 vintage of its Grand Vin, a blend of 94% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot and 1% Petit Verdot, harvested from the 19th of September to the 7th of October. The wine showcases some lovely black fruit on the nose with pencil lead complexity. Beautiful layered ripe fruit on the palate, with savoury nuances and skilfully integrated tannins. Available here in a magnum bottle.
