This extremely rare 27-year-old Islay single malt was distilled at Laphroaig in 1980 and subsequently bottled in 2007. Master Blender Robert Hicks and Distillery Manager John Campbell personally selected it from five exceptional Oloroso Sherry casks, both of whom have autographed the label. Bottled at a potent cask strength of 57.4% ABV, only 94 bottles were exclusively offered to the Friends of Laphroaig, in contrast to the broader general release of 972 bottles.
