This Laphroaig Cairdeas 2018 single malt has been double matured. in first-fill ex-bourbon casks then in fino sherry casks. The resulting whisky displays notes of toasted almonds, dried fruits and sea salt, perfectly complemented by Laphroaig’s signature peat character. Originally released exclusively for the ‘Friends of Laphroaig’ and the 2018 Islay Whisky Festival 2018.
