Château Latour à Pomerol boasts a vineyard of approximately eight hectares, primarily cultivated with Merlot, accompanied by 10% Cabernet Franc. The grapes are carefully hand-picked and undergo fermentation in temperature-controlled concrete and stainless-steel vats. Following this, the wines are aged in small oak barrels, approximately half of which are new, for a duration of roughly 18 months. Despite the hurdles faced by Bordeaux in 1969, top-tier producers such as Château Latour à Pomerol steadfastly upheld the elevated quality standards for which Pomerol is celebrated.
