Le Volte dell`Ornellaia 2018 is a full-bodied Supertuscan red wine from the Tuscany region of Central Italy. Le Volte is the third wine of the illustrious Tenuta dell’Ornellaia which the winery describes as combining a Mediterranean expression of generosity with structure and complexity. The 2018 is a fruit-driven and sumptuously textured blend of mostly Merlot with lesser parts Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon. To ensure excellent purity of fruit and freshness it is fermented in stainless steel vats and matured in a combination of barrique and cement tanks.
