Linkwood 39 Year Old Prima & Ultima Second Release 1981

Linkwood 39 Year Old Prima & Ultima Second Release is an age-statement Speyside single malt whisky produced at the Linkwood Distillery in Elgin. This 39-year-old Speysider was bottled as part of Diageo`s Prima & Ultima series of rare single malts. For this special bottling, a small batch of Linkwood single malt was matured for 12 Years in refill Sherry casks, then set aside to double-mature for more than 25 Years in four seasoned American oak casks previously used to mature Pedro Ximenez and oloroso Sherry.
