The Speyside Longmorn distillery was founded in 1894 by John Duff, who also owned the nearby Glenlossie. Its whiskies are often used in blends, but the distillery also releases a range of single malt expressions that are highly regarded by whisky enthusiasts. This particular expression was distilled in 2008 and bottled independently by Gordon & MacPhail at 46% ABV. Expect aromas of honey, vanilla and tropical fruits on the nose, with notes of toffee, cinnamon, and peaches on the palate.
