Longrow Red 11 Year Old Cabernet Franc Cask

Longrow Red 11 Year Old Cabernet Franc is a limited-edition, age-statement single malt whisky produced at the Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown. This 11-year-old Cabernet Franc-finish single malt is the sixth release under the `Red` range of Longrow heavily peated single malts. Bottled at a cask strength of 55.9%, this whisky spent nine years maturing in ex-Bourbon barrels and a further two years finishing in Cabernet Franc barrels from De Toren Private Cellars in Stellenbosch, South Africa. This edition follows an 11-year-old Australian Shiraz finish, an 11-year-old Port finish, a 12-year-old Pinot Noir finish, an 11-year-old Cabernet Sauvignon finish and, most recently, a 13-year-old Malbec finish.
