Louis Roederer is self-sufficient for approximately 70% of their non-vintage production and 100% of their vintage champagnes. It is only in the best years that the Maison produces a brut vintage cuvée – typically from a blend of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay, which is then aged for a minimum of four years. The 2015 expression reveals a fleshy, vinous texture with a lovely acidity that incorporates the freshness and concentration of the juice with great ease. 2015 was also the year in which the Champagne region was recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
