Originally established in 1869, Domaine des Comtes Lafon is one of the most famous names in Meursault, currently led by fourth generation family member Dominique Lafon. The domaine was one of the first to be converted to biodynamic farming during the 1990s. This release comes from ‘Les Gouttes d`Or’, a Meursault Premier Cru where Lafon owns a 0.39-hectare plot. The 1988 vintage was one of the best of the decade, with successes in both colours.
