Montrose 1976

Château Montrose 1976 is a mature-vintage Cabernet Sauvignon-based Bordeaux red wine from the Saint-Estèphe Second Growth of Château Montrose. A veritable jewel of the Saint-Estèphe appellation, with a history that dates back as far as 1815, Montrose spans about 95ha of vineyards which are planted to 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot. All are farmed organically.
