Located in the former Viking settlement of Wick, Old Pulteney was the most northerly mainland distillery until the Wolfburn Distillery opened in 2013. Their whiskies range from award-winning single malts to limited-edition releases, each defined and shaped by the distillery’s coastal location. This is a limited-edition single malt, which has been further matured in ex-Pineau des Charentes casks. Bottled at 46% ABV, the whisky has a briny character, with notes of candied orange, roasted hazelnuts and ground spices.
