Penfolds Yattarna V is a non-vintage white wine produced from Chardonnay grapes from multiple winegrowing regions of Australia. This limited-edition cuvée is produced from a blend of five of the best recent vintages of Penfolds` Yattarna Chardonnay and sets an ambition to be considered an equal of the Grands Crus of Burgundy. Just 2,200 bottles of this exceptional multi-region blend were produced. Combining equal proportions of the 2011, 2012, 2014, 2016 and currently unreleased 2021 vintages, there is a more assured swell of savoury secondary characteristics (roasted hazelnut, brioche and oyster shell) woven among the bright fruit notes, showing radiant lemon, white peach and a squeeze of grapefruit.
