First produced in 1997, this 100% Nero d’Avola is one of the finest red wines from the Planeta range. The grapes hail from Noto, a small Italian DOC in the south of the Siracusa province in eastern Sicily. With its white lands and its old vines, it has always been the epicentre of Nero d’Avola cultivation. The 2019 vintage combines notes of sour cherries, ripe blackberries, bergamot, orange peel, balsamic and traces of graphite.
