Based in the commune of Pommard, Domaine de Courcel is an 11-hectare property still owned and run by the founding family. The estate includes holdings in four Premier Cru sites, Les Frémiers, Les Croix Noires, Le Grand Clos des Épenots and Les Rugiens, where this release comes from. While the 1993 vintage conditions were challenging, skilled and meticulous producers such as Domaine de Courcel were able to produce wines of excellent quality.
