Port Ellen 40 Year Old 75th Anniversary Douglas Laing 1982

Douglas Laing Port Ellen 40 Year Old 75th Anniversary is a special-edition age-statement Islay single malt whisky bottled by Douglas Laing. This extremely limited-edition release from the legendary lost distillery of Port Ellen. Distilled in September 1982, this whisky was drawn from single refill Sherry cask at a cask strength 59.1% and bottled in July 2023. Just 290 bottles was produced. The whisky is presented in diamond-shaped luxury gift box and comes with a booklet and certificate hand-signed by Fred Laing and Cara Laing. Crafted from cut crystal and adorned with metal labels, the bottle itself was designed by glass artisan Richard Brendon.
