Powell and Son Riesling 2017

Powell and Son Riesling 2017 is a dry white wine produced from old vines in the Eden Valley of South Australia. Callum and Dave Powell employ traditional, minimal-intervention winemaking techniques to produce terroir-driven wines with a special focus on Rhone varieties. Their Eden Valley Riesling comes from 90-year-old dryfarmed vines at 480m altitude in the Flaxmans Valley, on the eastern slope of the Barossa Ranges. "There are 300 cases of the 2017 Riesling, sourced from 90-year-old dry-grown vines. Really vibrant and fresh, it boasts aromas of lime and wet stone, finishing dry, clean and crisp. It will round out a bit with age, but it`s so enjoyable now, I`d opt for drinking it young." Wine Advocate, 2018
