Gaja Ca’Marcanda Promis is a blend of Merlot, Syrah and Sangiovese. The three varieties are fermented and macerated separately for around 15 days, and after 12 months of oak ageing, the wines are finally blended together. The resulting wine shows aromas of black cherries and black plums. It is complex and deeper on the nose, with enticing notes of sandalwood and essential oils. A wonderful introduction to the Tuscan wines produced by one of Piedmont`s greatest wineries.
