Château de Rayne-Vigneau 1976 is a fully mature sweet wine from the Sauternes appellation of Bordeaux. Located in the south of Sauternes, the 80ha property of Château de Rayne-Vigneau is planted to 75% Sémillon, 23% Sauvignon Blanc and 2% Muscadelle. The grand vin is typically fermented in stainless steel tanks and matured in 60% new oak barrels for 18 months before bottling. This example is from the solid 1976 vintage.
