Gravner Ribolla Gialla 2014 is an orange wine produced by the influential winemaker Josko Gravner in Friuli, northern Italy. Ribolla Gialla grapes are macerated with skins for seven months in clay amphorae. The wine is then transferred to large oak botti for six years of further ageing. Textured and aromatic, with firm acidity and a sapid savoury streak, the 2014 offers endlessly complex flavours with highlights of dried apricot, dried citrus, bergamot, black tea, oloroso sherry and walnut. Serve cool but not cold.
