Palace Hotel Bussaco Rosado Reservado 2020 is a rosé wine produced from the Baga grape variety by the iconic Bussaco Palace Hotel in Luso, Portugal. Built for Portuguese royalty in the late 19th century, the intricately ornate Bussaco Palace was converted into a hotel by Alexandre de Almeida in 1917. The hotel began producing its own wines – a white and a red produced from Dao and Bairrada grapes – in the 1920s and houses many extremely old vintages in its cellars. Aged on lees in second-use French 300l barrels for six months, the Bussaco Rosado offers a floral flavour profile with delicate notes of strawberry and whitecurrant. Medium-bodied, dry and vibrant with mouthwatering acidity, this is a wine which will keep well four two to four years.
