Domaine Zind-Humbrecht Rotenberg Pinot Gris 2020 is a single-vineyard dry white wine from the Alsace region of northern France. Managed by the vineyard-focused Olivier Zind-Humbrecht MW, Domaine Zind-Humbrecht produces wines of depth, precision and profound ageability from typical Alsatian grape varieties. The estate has been certified biodynamic since 2002. The Rotenberg vineyard is located on a steep west and northwest-facing slope of the Grand Cru Hengst in Wintzenheim. Here, poor, thin soils of iron-rich oligocen limestone yield Pinot Gris grapes with great concentration, acidity and minerality. "A staggeringly youthful and expressive dry pinot gris that has tons of power, but the mango and floral-honey aromas are discreet. Rich yet focused, bone-dry palate.
