Saxum Terry Hoage Vineyard 2015

This release from Saxum Vineyards is a red blend primarily composed of Grenache and Syrah, with a smaller percentage of Mataro [aka Mourvèdre]. The Terry Hoage Vineyard, which lends its name to the wine, is located in the Willow Creek District of Paso Robles. This vineyard benefits from the region`s limestone-rich, rocky soils and cooling ocean breezes, which contribute to the wine`s distinct personality. Expect a seductive nose of ripe red and black fruits, including raspberries, blackberries and plums, complemented by dried herbs, white pepper, and a hint of graphite. On the palate, the wine showcases a perfect balance of lush fruit flavours, silky tannins and lively acidity.
