Based in the small town of Ringe, 1423 is one of the fastest growing distributors of premium spirits in Denmark. S.B.S. – which stands for Single Barrel Collection – is their ongoing series of single barrel rums from all over the world. This release is a white, unaged rum from the French Antilles, bottled at 57% ABV. On the nose, aromas of ripe oranges mingle with fresh sugar cane, eucalyptus and a hint of ruby grapefruit. On the palate, it is a dry rum sprinkled with ground pepper and overripe stone fruits.
