The thoroughly enjoyable blend is dominated by Cinsault and Grenache, which together comprise over 85% of the composition. Delicate aromas of rose petals give way to a burst of fresh berries and fragrant fynbos. On the palate, juicy red and dark berry flavours take centre stage, accompanied by hints of earthy pomegranate and black tea. The addition of Tinta Barocca brings deeper tones and a rich, velvety structure with grippy tannins, culminating in a fresh and tightly-knit finish. The wine is already a delight in its youth but will undoubtedly reward those who patiently age it.
