This Tamdhu single malt was distilled in 2007 and aged for 15 years before being released independently by Douglas Laing as part of their `Old Particular` series. Bottled at 48.4% ABV, this whisky has an enticing flavour profile, boasting notes of dark fruit, toffee and spice. The nose offers aromas of vanilla, caramel, and oak, while the palate is dominated by raisins, figs and Christmas cake. Tamdhu is known for its sherry cask maturation, which gives its whiskies a deep and rich character, and this 15-year-old expression is no exception.
