Tanca Nica Soki Soki 2022

A truly unique wine, meticulously crafted from diverse plots of Zibibbo bush vines, spanning different altitudes and orientations. Flourishing primarily in `soki soki` soils rich in pumice, the grapes, carefully hand-harvested, undergo separate vinification processes with varying maceration durations, ranging from one night to a week. The maturation takes place on lees in seasoned barrels and stainless steel, with minimal SO2 added before bottling. The outcome is a wine that exudes an almost medicinal aroma, infused with Mediterranean herbs and the essence of sea air. Displaying a hazy yellow hue, it boasts floral scents and notes of elderflower, guava, and passion fruit. The palate unfolds with classic Zibibbo flavours, featuring ripe stone fruits like peach and apricot, intertwined with lemongrass, oolong tea, and herbal nuances.
