Teeling Blackpitts Cask Strength

Teeling Blackpitts Cask Strength is a peated single malt Irish whiskey from the Teeling Distillery in Dublin. This whiskey is the cask-strength version of Teeling`s regular Blackpitts peated single malt and is bottled at 56.5% ABV. This rich, smoky whiskey is named after the Blackpitts area of Dublin - located just behind the distillery - which in former times was home to some of the biggest barley malting houses in Ireland. The Teeling Blackpitts Cask Strength was matured in a combination of ex-Bourbon and Sauternes casks, which adds butterscotch and honeyed fruit notes to this whiskey`s classic peaty characters.
