The 2023 Release of Único Reserva Especial is an artful blend comprising vintages from 2009, 2011, and 2012, aimed at achieving a distinct house style. Combining Tinto Fino with a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon, it boasts a modest 14% alcohol content, making it a slightly lighter rendition of Reserva Especial. Despite utilizing warm, ripe, and potent vintages, the resulting blend exudes a balanced and refined character. Extended aging has refined its power, presenting an aromatic and spicy wine with the unmistakable Vega nose. The palate is velvety, complemented by exceptionally fine tannins. Bottled in June 2019.
