A unique white wine hailing from the Venetian lagoon, produced from the native Dorona di Venezia variety grown on the island of Mazzorbo. The 2014 vintage is bright golden in colour, sweet spicy on the nose, nuances of iodine minerality, with dried apricot and chamomile hints. Well structured on the palate, velvety with almond and honey notes. Dry, full, elegant and persistent on the palate.
Venissa is a great collector’s white wine with a long life expectancy. Adorned with a precious sheet of gold leaf which was applied by hand, the bottle was then re-fired on the island of Murano.
