Yamazaki Junshin

Yamazaki Junshin is a no-age-statement Japanese whisky from the Yamazaki distillery, which is located in the picturesque hills of Kyoto. This expression is part of Yamazaki`s core range and is a blend of malt whiskies aged in American oak, Spanish oak, and Mizunara oak casks, as well as a small amount of grain whisky. ‘Junshin’ means "pure" in Japanese, reflecting the whisky`s smooth and refined character. The nose is complex and intriguing, combining aromas of honey, vanilla, dried fruits and a hint of smoke. The palate reveals a full-bodied spirit, with flavours of dark chocolate, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg, as well as a subtle earthiness and a touch of oak.
