The Zahel winery boasts a rich legacy in Vienna, and current owner Alex Zahel, is dedicated to preserving and advancing that heritage. Alex produces a range of ‘Gemischter Satz’ wines, which are crafted by blending various grape varieties that are grown, harvested, and fermented together. This particular release is a shining example of biodynamic winemaking, created from a blend of Weissburgunder [also known as Pinot Blanc], Chardonnay, and Neuburger. It exhibits impressive body, richness, impeccable balance, and a medley of flavours including ripe exotic fruits, fresh pear, and crisp green apple notes.
