Founded in the early 1980s by the eponymous Mr Paillard, this relatively small estate has grown in reputation over the years to the point where it is considered by many to be bottling some of the finest sparkling wine in France. The house currently sources their grapes from around 40 distinct plots across Champagne with just under 70% of their grapes being sourced from vineyards they own.
We are delighted to welcome Alice Paillard to the store to host this fantastic showcase. Alice joined the family firm in 2007 & now co-manages the house alongside her father Bruno.
Alice will guide guests through a tasting of five different Champagnes - Zero Dosage, Première Cuvée, Cuvée 72, Rosé Première Cuvée & their superb vintage bottling Nec Plus Ultra 2002.
We hope you can join us for what is set to be a phenomenal tasting of fine Champagne.

The name Il Poggione has been woven into the history of Brunello di Montalcino since the early 1900s. They were one of the first wineries to market their wine specifically as Brunello di Montalcino & were one of the founding members of the Brunello di Montalcino Consortium, an organisation established to promote these now iconic wines.
While the winery is steeped in tradition, they continually work to combine the best of the old & the new - Sangiovese grapes are still hand-harvested, while vinification takes place in their state-of-the-art winery built in 2004.
We welcome Il Poggione's winemaker Alessandro Bindocci to Hedonism Wines to present a number of different bottlings from the winery's cellar & discuss the trials & tribulations of being responsible for producing one of Tuscany's most famous wines.
Guests will enjoy a superb vertical tasting of Il Poggione Brunello including 2006, 2007, 2010, 2012 & 2013. Also to be tasted on the night is Il Poggione's fantastic Riserva Vigna Paganelli 2012, which is only made in the very finest vintages & uses grapes from a single vineyard planted in mid-1960s.
Tickets for this event are £50, fully redeemable against any purchase of Il Poggione on the evening of the event.

Established in the late 1800s, Glenrothes has experienced its fair share of misfortune over the years. The distillery was severely damaged by no fewer than four large fires in its early years & was nearly never even built in the first place after funds ran short during the initial construction. Luckily for single malt connoisseurs, these setbacks were overcome & Glenrothes established itself as a key player in world famous blends such as Cutty Sark & The Famous Grouse.
Douglas McIvor will be pouring the whiskies at this tasting which will feature five superb drams - Glenrothes 12 Year Old, Glenrothes Bourbon Cask Reserve, Whisky Makers Cut, 18 Year Old & 25 Year Old.
Tickets for this tasting are £25, fully redeemable against any purchase of Glenrothes on the evening.
