Fettercairn is one of the oldest licensed distilleries in Scotland, founded in 1824 by Sir Alexander Ramsay. Today they are owned by Whyte & MacKay, whose portfolio also includes The Dalmore and Jura. This 18-year-old release has been created using a selection of first-fill and refill ex-bourbon American white oak casks and then finished in 100% Scottish oak casks. Expect exotic flavours of guava, fruit syrup, brioche, vanilla and a sprinkle of cacao powder.
