Founded in May 2005 by nine whisky enthusiasts, Stauning is the award-winning craft distillery based in Jutland, Denmark. ‘El Clásico’ is one of their most exciting releases. a rye whiskey that has been matured for 3-4 years in virgin American oak, followed by a minimum of 6 months in Spanish vermouth casks. The result is a warm and intense spirit, with notes of dried fruits, citrus, crushed pepper and a bittersweet aftertaste.
