Brand Riesling Zind Humbrecht 2008

Domaine Zind-Humbrecht Brand Riesling 2008 is a mature-vintage, single-vineyard dry Riesling from the Grand Cru of Brand in the Alsace appellation of northern France. Domaine Zind-Humbrecht is one of the most recognisable names in French wine and one of the greatest exponents of biodynamic viticulture in Alsace. The domaine`s 2008 Brand Riesling was produced from the Schneckeslbourg part of the Brand Grand Cru, in which rocky granite soils with marl and limestone sub-soil predominate. "A dry, zesty white, boasting ripe pineapple, tangerine and quince notes as well as firm, tangy acidity. A smoky layer underscores a core of white pepper, anise and a touch of clove.
