Marchesi Frescobaldo Castelgiocondo Brunello di Montalcino 1993 is a mature-vintage, full-bodied red wine produced from Sangiovese grapes in the Montalcino sub-region of Tuscany, central Italy. Castelgiocondo is one of the most historic producers of Brunello di Montalcino, and was one of the first four estates to produce Brunello wines in 1800. This mature Brunello offers aromas of ripe red fruits, spices, and leather. On the palate, it is full-bodied and well-structured with flavours of blackberry, red cherry, and tobacco. A full-flavoured red that will paid well with grilled meats, pasta dishes and mature cheeses.
