Denis Bachelet is a boutique domaine that has created a loyal following around its small-production wines. Based in the village of Gevrey-Chambertin, the estate comprises 3.99 hectares of vineyards across different appellations. This Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru is made from very old vines planted from 1907 to 1917. The 2002 vintage is fully mature and drinking perfectly now. gorgeous notes of cherries, strawberries and potpourri, all embedded in fine tannins, great acidity and mineral undertones.
