Domaine Jean Noel Gagnard Chassagne-Montrachet Les Caillerets 2014 is a medium-bodied Burgundy white wine from the Premier Cru climat of Les Caillerets in the Côte de Beaune. Domaine Jean-Noël Gagnard is a family-owned estate situated in Chassagne-Montrachet. Since 1989 the Domaine has been managed by Jean-Noël’s daughter, Caroline Lestimé, who converted the vineyards into organic viticulture. "The 2014 Chassagne Montrachet 1Er Cru les Caillerets has a very detailed, stony, slightly austere bouquet that really articulates the limestone terroir with style. The palate is crisp and taut on the entry with wonderful salinity, very well balanced with a hint of peach and lime coming through on the finish. As I anticipated given this vineyard`s performance at other domaines, this is one of the best premier crus from the domaine." Neal Martin, 2015
