`Egon Müller Scharzhofberger Riesling Auslese 2021 is a sweet Riesling from the Saar district of the Mosel Valley in Germany. Broadly considered to make some of the greatest Rieslings in the world, the Egon Müller winery has been in the same family since 1797. Farming on the steep slopes of the Mosel valley, the estate owns around one third of the famous Scharzofberg vineyard, one of the region`s greatest. Made in the botrytised Auslese style, this remarkable single-vineyard Riesling is from the excellent 2021 vintage and promises to evolve beautifully for decades.
