Egon Müller is a prestigious winery located near Wiltingen, a small yet important town on the lower Saar river within the wider Mosel region. The estate has a singular focus on Riesling and has built a reputation for its exceptional wines crafted from the Scharzhofberg vineyard, positioned to the southeast of Wiltingen. Egon Müller IV, the current director of the estate, honed his winemaking skills through studies at the prestigious Geisenheim University. This Auslese from the 2022 vintage is brimming with tropical fruit aromas, reminiscent dried mango and apricot, complemented by notes of honey blossom and marmalade. Its rich, opulent core is beautifully counterbalanced by a lively acidity.
